This initiative is the final phase of a broader enhancement plan initiated in 2019, which included the installation of synthetic turf and lighting. The current proposal involves the installation of spectator bleachers with a capacity for 400 to 500 people, along with a press box. The new bleachers aim to improve safety by moving spectators away from the field's edge and providing adequate seating for events.

The Lakeside project is also set for summer construction, with a lead time of approximately six months for the bleachers. The design includes ADA-compliant seating and safety lighting, ensuring accessibility and compliance with regulations.

At the conclusion of the presentations, the board prepared resolutions for both projects, affirming that they are not inconsistent with the borough's master plan. The board voted to approve the resolutions, allowing both projects to proceed as planned.
