Cyrus Cowings, a member of the varsity basketball team, initially planned to host a tea party for senior citizens but pivoted to organize a successful clothing drive instead. This last-minute effort resulted in a significant donation of clothes to the Children's Home in Poughkeepsie, which supports students in emergency foster care. His adaptability and commitment to community service were praised by board members.

Wayne Everett also made a notable impact by raising awareness about Dutchess Outreach, a local organization that assists those in need. He hosted a "lift-a-thon" during weight room intramurals, where he educated fellow students on how they could get involved and support the outreach efforts.

Yamile Gonzalez took action against local poverty by collaborating with her soccer club to host a clothing drive at Greenville Park. Her efforts yielded approximately 45 bags of clothing for Dutchess Outreach, demonstrating her dedication to helping those less fortunate in the community.
