Under the bright lights of Truckee High School’s auditorium, a sense of excitement and accomplishment filled the air as the Class of 2025 gathered for their commencement ceremony on June 7, 2025. Principal John Huberger welcomed students, families, and faculty, setting a tone of gratitude and reflection as he acknowledged the hard work and dedication that led to this momentous occasion.

The ceremony began with a heartfelt Pledge of Allegiance led by ASB President Naomi Adams, followed by a stirring rendition of the national anthem performed by the Cherokee High School band. The event was attended by key figures from the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, including Board President Diana Driller and Superintendent Kirsten Kramer, who were recognized for their support of the students.

Principal Huberger took a moment to express appreciation for the faculty and staff who played a crucial role in the students' journey. He highlighted the collective efforts of counselors, administrative staff, and maintenance teams, all of whom contributed to making the graduation ceremony a success. The principal also noted the generosity of community organizations, which provided approximately $780,000 in scholarships to the graduating class, a testament to the support available to students as they embark on their next chapters.

With 203 graduates, the Class of 2025 has been accepted into a diverse array of colleges, universities, vocational programs, and internships, showcasing their hard work and resilience over the past four years. As the ceremony progressed, graduating seniors Ariana Aviva Cruz and Jocelyn Solis Martinez took the stage to deliver a warm welcome, followed by Senior Class President Zachary Harris, who expressed his pride in his classmates and the journey they shared.
