Frumin emphasized the need for clarity on the financial commitments from the executive branch regarding future construction dollars, as the current building is aging and requires frequent repairs.

The discussion underscored the broader challenges within the budget, particularly the need for operating dollars in future fiscal years. The committee acknowledged the importance of establishing a new facility for CCNV, recognizing the pressing need for a replacement site.
