During a Special Magistrate Hearing on June 12, 2025, the city outlined a series of corrective actions required to restore the property, which has been plagued by vandalism and neglect.

The city has mandated that the church obtain permits for a range of repairs, including fixing the roof, replacing boarded-up windows, and addressing issues with the sanitary system and electrical equipment. The church has been given 60 days to comply with these requirements or face a daily fine of $100 until the violations are resolved.
