The timeline for the Denton side of the development is projected to span 10 to 12 years.

Following the discussion on Churchill East, the commission moved on to address PDA 25 003, a plan development amendment concerning special sign standards for a travel center located at the southeast corner of Vintage Boulevard and I-35 W. The amendment aims to establish new sign regulations as one proposed sign does not comply with existing ordinances. Staff recommended approval of the amendment, stating it meets all necessary criteria.

The meeting concluded with a note that MPA 24-003 had been withdrawn and would be rescheduled for future consideration. Overall, the commission's discussions highlighted ongoing development efforts in Denton and the importance of addressing infrastructure needs as the city continues to grow.
