Hamilton County Board considers cost-free program to centralize Amazon accounts

A groundbreaking initiative to streamline operations in Hamilton County was unveiled during the recent Hamilton County Commissioners Meeting. The board discussed a no-cost program that will consolidate 17 separate Amazon accounts into a single account, saving the county approximately $3,500 annually.

This program, offered through the Association of Indiana Counties, aims to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative burdens. If approved, the centralized account will simplify purchasing processes across various departments.

During the meeting, a motion was made to adopt the centralized account, which received unanimous support from the board members. Following the approval, the terms and conditions will be presented at the next public meeting for formal endorsement and signature, paving the way for swift implementation.
