The McFarland School District celebrated the achievements of its graduating class of 2025 during a heartfelt ceremony on June 8, 2025. The event highlighted the diverse paths that students will take as they transition to higher education and future careers.

Among the graduates, Braden Michael Ohala will pursue biochemistry at Iowa State University, while Sophie Ann Olsen plans to study exercise science at Luther College, where she will also join the tennis team. Other notable graduates include Isaac Matin Peterson, who will attend the University of California Irvine for computer science, and Kylie Elizabeth Rossman, who is set to major in neurobiology at UW Madison.

The ceremony was filled with gratitude, as students expressed appreciation for their families, friends, and teachers who supported them throughout their high school journey. For instance, Brooklyn Marie Orley thanked her friends and McFarland staff for their unwavering support, while Grayson J. Prive acknowledged the influence of the youth apprenticeship program on his nursing career path at UW Madison.

Several graduates are also taking unique routes; for example, Lily Phyllis Stempley has enlisted in the Navy, where she will pursue a degree in nuclear engineering. Meanwhile, Shivan Ranjan plans to study computer science at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and Mason Patrick Rowe expressed his gratitude to his parents for their support.
