Teton County officials have welcomed a new Fair and Fairgrounds Manager, Trista Heldbruiner, during the voucher meeting held on June 9, 2025. County Administrator Jody Pond introduced Heldbruiner, who has been with the Fair and Fairgrounds since 2017 and brings a strong background in agricultural business and community involvement, including experience with 4-H and rodeo activities.
The meeting also saw the approval of county vouchers totaling $1,689,054.86, a decision that passed unanimously among the commissioners. Notably, a discussion arose regarding a $50 farrier bill related to the mounted patrol, highlighting the county's commitment to supporting public safety initiatives.
In addition to these key points, the commissioners approved liquor permits for upcoming summer events at the Jedidiah Corporation and Bentwood Inn LLC, further supporting local businesses and community activities.
Looking ahead, the meeting included discussions on the BUILD grant and the need for detailed instructions to facilitate decision-making processes. The county continues to prioritize effective governance and community engagement as it moves forward with various initiatives.
