Her dedication to her studies and community earned her over $55,000 in scholarships, including recognition as a Bill and Melinda Gates scholar.

In her speech, Evelyn expressed gratitude to her teachers, staff, and custodians at Arlington Collegiate High School for their support throughout her educational journey. She also acknowledged her elementary teachers, highlighting the long-lasting impact they had on her life.

Evelyn plans to attend the University of Texas at Arlington in the fall, where she will major in mechanical engineering. Her achievements and aspirations reflect a bright future ahead.
