A significant highlight was the upcoming teen summer pool party scheduled for July 11 at the new recreation and aquatic center, coinciding with Parks and Recreation Month. The committee offered feedback to the Parks and Recreation Department to assist in the event's planning.

Additionally, the committee discussed town policies regarding video games, which are integral to the teen room and various recreation programs. They provided input on a proposed content review process aimed at enhancing service delivery to members.

As the school year concluded, Spencer announced the committee's first-year achievements and presented Mayor Wheatley with a scrapbook commemorating their inaugural year. The committee also honored Council Member Oliphant for her support in establishing the committee, presenting her with a plaque and flowers.
