Commander Stephen Kane accepted a proclamation from the council in honor of the post's two decades of service, inviting community members to join in a photo opportunity.

In addition to honoring the American Legion, the council recognized Connor Povar, a recent graduate of Queen Creek High School, for his positive impact on the community. The meeting underscored the town's commitment to honoring its veterans and celebrating the contributions of its youth.
