Tenure awards took the spotlight at the BCSD Board of Education meeting on June 4, 2025, as a significant number of educators were recognized for their achievements. A total of 20 educators received tenure across various disciplines, marking a milestone in their professional careers.
Among the honorees were Deborah Anderson in art, Andy Baker as an Elementary Principal, and Mackenzie Freeworth in Guidance Counseling. The list continued with Dominic Gallo in Elementary Education, Kaylee Hafner as a Library Media Specialist, and Jessica Hallock in mathematics. Other notable recipients included Dan Hash, who supervises English Language Arts, and Emily Judah in art.
