Garfield Heights School District celebrated a significant milestone as the graduating class of 2025 officially completed their educational journeys during a commencement ceremony on May 29. Dr. Richard Reynolds, addressing the graduates, emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and encouraged the new graduates to remain motivated and innovative.
"Now, more than ever, the world needs quality educational scholars committed to moral character," Dr. Reynolds stated, highlighting the values he believes the Class of 2025 embodies. He expressed gratitude to the students and staff for their hard work, noting that the last day of school for students is June 4.
In addition to the graduation celebration, Dr. Reynolds introduced the Parent University initiative, designed to support families in raising scholars. This program aims to create a network of engaged parents and guardians, fostering a collaborative environment for student success.
As the school year wraps up, Dr. Reynolds encouraged everyone to enjoy their summer while continuing to prioritize education. The district looks forward to the positive impact the Class of 2025 will have in the future.
