The proposed development, named Springside Crossing, aims to blend a 49-acre tract of land with the existing Cascades community, creating a comprehensive planned development that could accommodate hundreds of new homes.

During the Brooksville City Council meeting on June 2, 2025, representatives from NVR outlined their vision for the project, which includes up to 490 townhomes on the newly acquired land along US 41.
