Commission approves Culver's final site plan for new drive through layout on Sunset Drive

The City of Waukesha's Plan Commission has approved a significant upgrade to the Culver's restaurant located at 840 West Sunset Drive, which is set to enhance customer experience and alleviate traffic congestion. The approval, granted during the meeting on May 28, 2025, includes the addition of a second drive-through lane, aimed at improving the flow of vehicles and reducing wait times for patrons.

Currently, the restaurant operates with a single drive-through lane, which has been challenging for both parking and traffic management. The proposed changes will introduce a new drive-through lane, allowing two vehicles to place orders simultaneously, similar to the setup at a nearby McDonald's.
