The spotlight shone brightly on the top scholars of Trinity High School during the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD graduation ceremony, as the class of 2025 celebrated their academic achievements. Leading the pack is valedictorian Aiden Yi, who achieved an impressive GPA of 5.33343. Aiden, the son of Chalicia and George Yi, will be heading to Rice University to pursue a degree in mathematics.
Following closely is salutatorian Shabda Nupanya, boasting a GPA of 5.295. Shabda, whose parents are Denish and Nupaina, will attend Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in business.
The top ten students also include notable names such as Jacob Brambilla, who ranked 10th with a GPA of 5.193 and plans to study computer science and law at Northwestern University, and Jessica Wei, who secured the 3rd spot with a GPA of 5.257, set to attend Carnegie Mellon University for statistics and data science.
The ceremony also recognized several students for their special achievements. Among them, National Merit Commended students included Jacob Brambilla and Aiden Yi, while National Merit Semifinalists featured Caleb Chen and Jessica Wei. The event highlighted the diversity of talent, with awards for National African American Recognition Program Scholars and National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholars, showcasing the accomplishments of students from various backgrounds.
As the graduates prepare for their next steps, the community celebrates their hard work and dedication, looking forward to the bright futures that lie ahead for these exceptional young leaders.
