Parents were informed that each set of twins counts as one entry in the lottery, and two sets of twins were among those selected. Notifications will be sent via email within 24 hours, with a confirmation deadline set for June 2 at 4 PM. A parent information night is scheduled for June 3 at the High School Auditorium, where details about the UPK programs will be shared.

Screenings for selected students will take place on June 5 and 6 at Saddlewood Elementary and Rosellville, with various educational staff present to assist. Mortman reminded attendees that being selected does not guarantee placement at a child's homeschool, as assignments depend on lottery numbers and residency.

The lottery results will be posted on the district website shortly after the meeting, ensuring transparency in the selection process. Parents were encouraged to reach out with any questions as the district prepares for the upcoming school year.
