Village Manager reported on significant developments, including the amendment of the Normantown Road Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district. The TIF eligibility report and redevelopment plan are now available for public review at the clerk's office. Additionally, the Will County Long Range Transportation Plan is nearing completion, with a public open house set for May 27 at the Ovation Center.

A major highlight of the meeting was the announcement of two substantial grants received by the village. The first grant of $3 million will fund 1.8 miles of improvements along Runwick Road, while the second grant of $2.9 million is designated for beautification and trail enhancements along Route 53.
