The Centennial Spartans Powerlifting teams have had a remarkable year, with the girls' team winning all three meets they participated in and achieving third place overall at regionals, the highest ranking in the school's history.
During the meeting, it was announced that 15 girls qualified for regionals, with several standout performances. Notably, senior Madison Wood secured second place at regionals and went on to finish seventh at the state competition. Junior Delaney Barth also excelled, taking first at regionals and third at state. The boys' team also made a strong showing, with six boys competing at regionals and two qualifying for state, including Luis Bermea, who placed first in his weight class at regionals and third at state.
