The recent graduation ceremony for Newton High School's Class of 2025 marked a significant milestone for the community, as it celebrated the largest graduating class since 2005, with 620 students receiving their diplomas. This achievement reflects not only the hard work of the students but also the support of their families and educators.
Among the graduates, 448 students earned GPAs of 80% or higher, showcasing their academic dedication. Additionally, 113 students participated in dual enrollment courses, and collectively, they earned over 361 industry certifications. A notable 65% of the graduates have applied to at least one college, technical, or trade school, demonstrating their commitment to furthering their education. The class has also secured nearly $65 million in scholarship funds, highlighting their accomplishments in academics, arts, and athletics.
