The second retiree, Dionne Everett from the Sheriff's Office, was recognized for her diverse roles, including senior investigator and school resource officer. Everett made history as the first African American female assigned to the U.S. Marshal Violent Criminal Task Force, where she played a pivotal role in solving a double homicide case.
