Following Boeing's presentation, Drew McEwen, Chief Commercial Officer of Aura Aero, took the stage to discuss the company's mission to decarbonize aviation. Aura Aero, which recently expanded its operations to Daytona Beach, aims to design and manufacture sustainable aircraft. McEwen shared that the company has raised over $200 million and has significant preorders for its hybrid electric regional airliner, the Era. He emphasized the company's commitment to digital innovation and the development of smart aircraft, positioning Aura Aero as a leader in the transition to electrification in aviation.
