Good morning, Coronado Middle School! In a lively broadcast on May 16, 2025, KCMS highlighted several exciting updates and achievements within the school community.

First and foremost, the CMS yearbooks have officially arrived and will be distributed on June 4 during the after-school release party. Students who have not yet purchased their yearbooks have until May 19 to do so, with QR codes available outside Miss Frampton's classroom for easy access.

In addition to yearbook news, the broadcast featured a recap of the recent Wellness Week activities. Students participated in a scavenger hunt, uncovering eight mystery words that formed a wellness message. Teams are encouraged to submit their answers for a chance to win a prize.

Counselors also reminded students that applications for teacher's aide or office aide positions are due today. Those who have not yet submitted their elective choices were urged to do so promptly, as it may affect their first selection.

A highlight of the broadcast was the recognition of the robotics team, RoboTriton, which excelled at the recent spring showdown competition, bringing home three trophies. The team showcased their skills with awards for first place in robot design and second place in both the robot game and on-the-spot challenge.

As the broadcast wrapped up, students were reminded to take ownership, act with integrity, and show respect. With a busy weekend ahead, including the Navy Bay Bridge Run, the school community is encouraged to share their experiences and photos.
