Beulah launches community awareness initiative with new website and promotional materials

During a recent Pueblo County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) work session, discussions centered on enhancing community engagement and visibility for the town of Beulah. The meeting highlighted the importance of developing a strong brand identity and creating promotional materials to foster community awareness.

One of the key initiatives discussed was Action 4.3, which focuses on establishing a dedicated website for Beulah. This website aims to serve as a platform for publishing promotional materials and will eventually evolve into a fully functional site featuring a community forum and an integrated calendar of events. The action team is currently working on a prototype and is optimistic about making it available to the public soon. However, they acknowledged the need for time, expertise, and financial resources to design, program, and maintain the website effectively.

The planning assistance team is set to finalize the community action plan by May 9, which will then be handed over to the steering committee. This plan is expected to guide the town's efforts in increasing community engagement and visibility. Additionally, the Colorado State University Extension Office will provide implementation support over the next 12 to 24 months, further emphasizing the collaborative effort to enhance Beulah's community presence.
