Grama Amor Hospitality seeks approval to manage Fitzwillys and Toasted Owl Tavern

In a recent special meeting of the Northampton License Commission, discussions centered around the proposed transfer of liquor licenses for two local establishments, Fitzwillys and Toasted Owl Tavern. Representing Grama Amor Hospitality Inc., attorney Josh Goldstein outlined the plans for the new ownership group, which includes Christine and Jim Casagrande, who have a strong track record in the community through their management of the Northampton Country Club.

Goldstein emphasized the continuity of operations, stating that the theme of both establishments would remain unchanged, and the existing staff would continue under the new management. The Casagrandes, who have operated the Northampton Country Club since 2016 without any liquor license violations, are positioned to ensure responsible service of alcohol at the new venues. Christine Casagrande is proposed to be the manager of record, committing to a presence of at least 40 hours per week at the establishments.

The commission was thanked for convening to discuss this important matter, and Goldstein expressed confidence in the new ownership's dedication to community safety and responsible alcohol service.
