Jackson Presnell and River Johnson placed second and third, respectively, in the level 1 category, while Madeline Thompson took first place in level 2. Kayla Slusser excelled in artistic welding, winning both first place and the crowd favorite award.
The board also celebrated the artistic talents of students nominated for the VSBA Southern Region art competition, with Taylor Massey, Kennedy Lang, and Annabelle Daniel receiving certificates for their contributions.
