Speedway announces annual Rockin' on Main festival featuring Clayton Anderson

The Town Council of Speedway, Indiana, is gearing up for its much-anticipated annual event, Rockin' on Main, scheduled for May 20, 2025. This vibrant celebration will transform three blocks of Main Street into a lively festival from 5 PM to 10 PM, aiming to foster community spirit and engagement.

Cheryl McElroy, the town's communications director, highlighted the event's significance, noting that last year attracted around 10,000 attendees. This year, the lineup promises to be equally exciting, featuring live music from the Midwest touring band Melon Cougar, a tribute to John Cougar Mellencamp, and headliner Clayton Anderson, a Nashville recording artist with local roots.

In addition to the music, attendees can enjoy a diverse array of food and drink options from local restaurants and food trucks. Over 50 pop-up shops will offer race-themed artwork, homemade jewelry, and unique clothing items, enhancing the festival atmosphere. Families can also look forward to a dedicated kids' zone with bounce houses and face painting, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
