Among the key highlights was the presentation of the annual preservation awards, which honor outstanding restoration projects and individuals dedicated to maintaining Ellensburg's historic charm. The prestigious Commercial Restoration Award went to the Fiddler Building, a historic structure revitalized by new owners Kelly and Adam Wynn. Their extensive renovations preserved the building's integrity while transforming it into a vibrant space for shopping and dining.

The Residential Award was presented to Kelly Garrett for her stewardship of the Castle House, a property with a storied past linked to Ellensburg's bid for state capital. The commission also honored David Cross and Steven Wright with the Commission Award for their long-standing commitment to preserving historic homes in the area.

In a community-driven initiative, the Community Selected Award recognized the Rebuilding, a historic structure that recently underwent thoughtful repairs. The building, which once housed the first automobile dealership in Ellensburg, won the public vote with 73 votes, reflecting the community's appreciation for its historical significance.
