Chino Valley Council approves $444K road improvement project with Cactus Asphalt

During the recent Chino Valley Town Council meeting on September 24, 2024, council members approved a significant road improvement project aimed at enhancing local infrastructure. The council unanimously agreed to a cooperative agreement with Cactus Asphalt for a project on Outer Loop Road, which is recognized as a regionally significant route.

The approved project, which comes with a budget of $444,185.51, will utilize a polymer modified asphalt rubber chip seal combined with a two-inch overlay. This method is designed to provide better structural support compared to a previously proposed option, ensuring the road can withstand wear and tear for an estimated five to ten years.
