Recently completed, the expansion project has increased the plant's capacity from 5.85 million gallons per day to an impressive 9 million gallons. This upgrade was essential, as the facility had reached its limits, struggling to process the waste generated by the growing population.

The expansion, which cost approximately $35 million, is the largest financial undertaking in the town's history.
