Knoxville City Council approves $1.7M for affordable housing initiatives

Knoxville City Council made significant strides toward addressing the affordable housing crisis during its recent meeting on May 2, 2025. In a notable initiative, the council also approved $1 million from the Home American Rescue Plan for Lumen Flats LLC to create 18 supportive housing units for youth aging out of foster care.
