Durham Public Schools (DPS) celebrated significant achievements and community engagement during its monthly Board of Education meeting on April 24, 2025. A highlight of the evening was the recognition of the Superintendent Student Advisory Council, whose members provided valuable insights on various educational issues throughout the year. DPS also celebrated the success of its media coordinators during School Library Month, with Sally Winstead from Creekside Elementary named Media Coordinator of the Year.
