During the recent school board meeting on April 29, 2025, Superintendent Buckley acknowledged the hard work of staff and students as they approach the conclusion of the academic year, highlighting the upcoming National Teacher Appreciation Week and School Nurse Week.
Board member Mister Rothermel emphasized the importance of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered by Winchester Public Schools. He noted that these programs provide students with essential skills and industry credentials, aligning with Virginia's new 3 E readiness framework, which values enrollment, employment, and enlistment equally as post-secondary outcomes.
