The City of Coeur d'Alene is set to enhance recreational opportunities at Atlas Mill Park with the approval of a new agreement for kayak rentals. This initiative marks the first kayak rental service at this location, expanding access to water sports for residents and visitors alike.
The kayak launch will be situated near an existing ADA swim area, providing an inclusive experience for individuals with disabilities. The designated area will feature a large landing and a concession booth, making it easier for users to access kayaks and receive assistance if needed.
