The modifications are designed to comply with existing environmental regulations, as the site is classified as a polluted area where no additional impervious surfaces can be added.

During the meeting, board members discussed whether the proposed changes constituted minor or major modifications to the site plan. Ultimately, the board voted to classify the modifications as minor, allowing the project to proceed without undergoing a full public review process.
