Coffee High School is celebrating a remarkable 83 honor graduates out of a total of 425 graduates, while the Wiregrass College and Career Academy boasts its largest senior class ever, with 8 honor graduates among 50 total graduates.

A significant 232 students from Coffee High School have been accepted into colleges and technical schools, with 10 choosing to enlist in the military and 83 entering the workforce. This year, the push for higher enrollment at South Georgia State College has paid off, with 54 students set to attend in the fall. Additionally, 48 students will enroll at Wiregrass, while others have secured spots at prestigious institutions such as Georgia Tech, the University of Georgia, and Georgia Southern University.
Among the standout achievements is a student attending Morehouse College on the esteemed Gates Scholarship, which covers 100% of tuition. The board took a moment to honor the academic excellence of their top students, with Becky Neto and Britney Hartford recognized as valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, at Wiregrass, and Nora Lott and Macy Robinson achieving the same honors at Coffee High School.
The financial impact of these achievements is significant, with Coffee High School students collectively awarded over $2.5 million in scholarships, not including the HOPE Scholarship.
