Lily Killebrew, a student representative, shared an enthusiastic update on recent events, emphasizing the mix of excitement and anticipation among students as they count down to summer.

Athletics took center stage with notable accomplishments from spring sports teams. The boys tennis team has qualified for the district tournament, set to face Rossview, while baseball and softball teams are gearing up for their senior nights and upcoming district tournaments. Additionally, boys soccer will participate in a junior varsity tournament, providing younger athletes with essential game experience.

As graduation approaches, excitement is palpable with just 15 days left until the ceremony and prom scheduled for the following day. Killebrew also announced the winners of the annual red, silver, and blue awards, recognizing outstanding students for their achievements and citizenship. The HOSA chapter will celebrate its successful year with an end-of-year banquet on May 9, marking the conclusion of clinical placements for senior health science students.

In academics, testing season is underway, with end-of-course exams in math wrapping up and biology and U.S. history exams on the horizon. The upcoming senior awards day on May 8 will honor the hard work of the class of 2025, showcasing leaders and high achievers from both academic and athletic departments.
