Senator Dooner emphasized the importance of remembering those who served, stating, "It is our duty as a nation to honor our missing heroes, support their families, and ensure their sacrifices are never overlooked."

The Senate unanimously adopted a motion to adjourn in memory of PFC Travers, reinforcing the commitment to never forget those who have served. A moment of silence was observed in his honor, marking a solemn acknowledgment of his sacrifice and the ongoing mission to account for all missing service members.

In addition to the tribute, the Senate also suspended rules to expedite the consideration of a bill regarding retirement service credits for Roberta Wallin, demonstrating the body’s commitment to addressing important legislative matters alongside honoring its veterans.
