The South Carolina House of Representatives convened on April 23, 2025, to honor the remarkable achievements of the Oceanside Collegiate Academy athletic teams. The team triumphed over Christchurch Episcopal High School with a close score of 4 to 3, solidifying their reputation as a dominant force in South Carolina high school tennis. Despite the anticipated challenges of losing several senior players, the team is expected to remain competitive in the upcoming season under the guidance of head coach Sean Harris.

Next, the House recognized the boys' volleyball team, which achieved a historic milestone by winning their first-ever state championship. The team defeated rival Bishop England with a decisive 3-0 victory, finishing the season with an impressive record of 26 wins and only 3 losses. Head coach Doug Smith expressed pride in the team's accomplishments, highlighting their growth since the program's inception just five years ago.

Finally, the football team was celebrated for winning their second consecutive state title, overcoming a challenging start to the season. After a 2-3 record, the team rallied to win nine straight games, culminating in a championship victory against Honea Path High School. Interim head coach John Patterson and his staff were commended for their leadership and the life lessons imparted to the players throughout the season.
