In another key discussion, Rose Hudson, President and CEO of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation, presented the operating budget for 2025-2026, projecting gross revenues of $603.7 million. This budget is expected to contribute $186.8 million to the state. Hudson emphasized the Lottery's strong performance, noting that it ranks first in the nation for revenue returned to good causes. Despite recent challenges with jackpot sizes, the Lottery has successfully expanded its instant product offerings, thanks to legislative support.
