Fulshear's Economic Development Corporation is ramping up its initiatives to support local businesses, with a series of successful events and workshops aimed at fostering entrepreneurship. During the recent meeting on April 21, 2025, officials highlighted the positive outcomes from the Fulshear Fast Track program, which has hosted three events since its inception.

The monthly business depot luncheons have seen a steady increase in attendance, with the latest gathering attracting 13 participants. These meetings provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to discuss challenges and share solutions, fostering a collaborative environment for business growth.

In response to community feedback, the Economic Development Corporation launched a social media workshop series designed to enhance digital marketing skills among local businesses. The first session garnered 25 registrations, prompting organizers to expand capacity due to high demand. Although only nine attendees showed up, the increased seating aims to accommodate the evident interest in these free workshops.

Additionally, the first of two planned entrepreneur boot camps took place, drawing 12 participants who provided valuable feedback and sparked ongoing discussions about business development and investment opportunities.

Looking ahead, the Economic Development Corporation is set to host more events, including the next business depot luncheon and the second part of the social media workshop. A networking and HR event is also scheduled for April 24, featuring a speaker focused on human resources issues, marking a return to networking events after a year.

These initiatives reflect Fulshear's commitment to nurturing its local economy and supporting entrepreneurs as they navigate the challenges of starting and growing their businesses.
