Collins emphasized the graduates' dedication, noting their attendance at weekly sessions where they honed their advocacy skills and learned to influence public policy.

The graduates participated in various community projects addressing important themes, such as supporting grieving families, promoting inclusion, and expanding access to music. A notable experience for the graduates included attending a city council meeting led by Suisun City Mayor Alma Hernandez, where they gained firsthand experience in civic engagement. Several graduates also shared their voices during public comment at a previous board meeting, marking a significant milestone in their leadership journey.

The board recognized the achievements of the graduates, which included Diana Ramirez, Guadalupe Aguayo, Glenda Morris, Sylvia Madrid, Lisa Waits, and Maria Carmen Rodriguez, with additional graduates unable to attend being Rocio Ibarra, Tamika Serrano, Effie Nava, Lianne Vodouen, and Jessica Avetia.

The meeting concluded with a celebration of the graduates' accomplishments and a commitment to supporting their continued leadership in strengthening schools and uplifting the community.
