Hamblen County approves $5.2M renovation for new health department building

In a recent meeting held on April 19, 2025, the Hickman County government discussed significant developments regarding the construction of a new health department facility. The local match is supported by the purchase of the Oaktree Plaza, which will house the Ag Extension office and other county services. The meeting also addressed the budget allocations, confirming that $750,000 is available in the current year's budget for the county space construction.
