The Coronado High School sports season has wrapped up on a high note, with team members expressing their excitement and engagement compared to last year. "This season went pretty well. I had a lot more fun than last year," one student shared, highlighting the increased involvement and consistent practices that marked this year's activities.

Competitions primarily took place in Oceanside, with the state championships also held there. Despite facing challenges, including being knocked out of the state championships, the team remains optimistic for next year. "We're hoping for a good year next year as well," a team member stated, reflecting the positive spirit within the group.

In addition to sports updates, important announcements were made regarding the final day of CAST testing, which is scheduled for tomorrow. Juniors are required to be on campus for testing starting at 8:30 AM, while non-testing students should arrive by 10:40 AM.

Furthermore, current freshmen interested in serving as student representatives for the Islander Sports Foundation Board of Directors next year are encouraged to apply. Applications are available on the Foundation's Instagram or website and are due by Sunday, April 27, at 5 PM.
