The American Public Power Association (APPA), a trade group representing over 2,000 community-owned electric utilities, awarded Danvers Electric for its exceptional service in 2024. The APPA's reliability team evaluates power outage and restoration data, comparing it to national statistics from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. According to Paul Zumo, APPA's Director of Research and Development, the utilities recognized for their reliability are among the best in the nation.
