Plymouth North High School plans cultural trip to Italy for 46 students

This April, 46 students and 6 teachers from Plymouth Public Schools are set to embark on an exciting cultural immersion trip to Italy, spanning nine days. The group will explore iconic cities including Milan, Venice, Florence, and Rome, engaging in unique experiences such as a glass-blowing demonstration in Venice and riding gondolas. They will also visit famous landmarks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum, savor traditional Italian cuisine, and interact with local residents.

In addition to the trip, the School Committee announced that report cards for the third term will be published in Aspen and sent home on Friday, April 11. As a reminder, April break is approaching, scheduled from April 15 to April 19, with hopes for a rejuvenating spring break for all students and staff.

The meeting also included a field trip request for an overnight excursion to Houston, Texas, presented by Carl Nielsen, an engineering technology teacher and robotics advisor at Plymouth North High School. Further details on this request were anticipated as the meeting progressed.
