The Defense Health Agency's Immunization Health Care Division, Pacific Region team, has been honored with the 2025 LiveWell San Diego 24th Annual Public Health Champion Organization Award. This recognition highlights the team's decade-long commitment to providing essential immunization services to military personnel and their families in the San Diego area.

Since its establishment ten years ago, the Pacific Region Team has coordinated military-related immunization care, administering over 20,000 vaccines each month across more than 40 local clinics. Their services include routine childhood and adult vaccinations, travel immunizations, and specialized vaccines for unique military operations. The team also emphasizes ongoing education and clinical assessments to maintain best practices in immunization care.
