The City of Bristol, TN, is ramping up its efforts to support local businesses by inviting vendors to apply for the upcoming State Street Farmers Market. During a recent government meeting, officials highlighted the streamlined application process now available online, making it easier than ever for potential vendors to join the market.

Interested vendors will find a simple form that requires basic information, which is then submitted directly to the market coordinator for review. Last year, the market featured around 40 vendors, and currently, there are about 28 approved for the upcoming season. The market has a cap of 30 vendors for Saturday events, but there is a particular need for more participants for Wednesday markets running from July through September. While some categories, such as meat and honey vendors, are already filled, there is excitement about new offerings, including a sourdough vendor joining this year.
