The board unanimously approved the permit, which involves repairing 50 feet of revetment that has begun to sink due to a failure in the underlying filter cloth. This repair is essential to prevent further erosion and potential destabilization of the area, which is surrounded by revetment on all sides. The Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) is currently processing the application, as part of the project extends into the waterway.

In addition to the permit approval, the board also ratified the minutes from their previous meeting, ensuring that all records are up to date.
